Version 1 of our Tick Risk Story Map is live!
We are asking the community to report where and when ticks are active and help us build our map. Each time a community member reports a tick, a "pin" is added to our map. Other community members and researchers can click on the pins to read about the tick found. As time goes on we plan to add details such as whether the tick was carrying pathogenic microorganisms.
You can help us with our research!
Use our Story Map website
to self report encounters with ticks, then send any specimens you
collect to our lab. Also, you can request a tick kit with a tick removal "key" and tick collection supplies.
